Biography
Dr. Divya did MSc, MPhil and PhD in Zoology (University of Kerala) and had been a CSIR Research Associate at Dept of Zoology, University of Kerala when she joined CUK as Assistant Professor in 2011. She was awarded INSA medal for Young Scientist (2011), NASI Swarna Jayanti Puraskar (2011), KSCSTE Young Scientist Award in Life Sciences (2008), Young Investigator Travel Award by International Neuroendocrine Federation, France (2010), CSIR travel grant for INF, (2010), Best poster award at Mysore University (2011), Prof. NJ Chinoy Award at JNU (2010), and was shortlisted for Young Scientist Award by ISC (2009). She has published 1 Book and 7 Research papers, 3 chapters in books, and has made 12 national / international presentations. Her area of research include ROS modulation of stress proteins especially PT modifications in various animal models, and the reproductive biology & secretomics of Caecilian amphibians.
