Research Interest
Design anistropic nanocrystals of metal (Au, Ag, Pt, Cu and Bi etc ), metal oxide (TiO2, ZnO, CeO2, SnO2 etc) nanoparticles, semiconductor nanocrystals (Metal chalcogenide) and hybrid nanostructures of these materials with controlled dimensions. Multifunctional Nanostructured-based composites for solar energy applications. Hybrid nano-photocatalysis. Investigating the impact of nanomaterials on the environment. Fabrication of different shape controlled metal-semiconductor heterostructures and study their photophysical properties.
