Biography
Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta is an Associate Professor, at Centre for Political Studies. He did his Masters from Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. He completed his MPhil and PhD from the South Asian Studies Division at School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. His PhD is on “Arms Purchase and Security Concerns of India 1986-1999”. Dr. Alok has a degree in LLB and LLM (Business Laws) from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur to his credit. He also completed Post Graduate Diploma in English Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. Dr. Alok began his academic career at National Law University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan in 2001. Before joining Central University of Bihar he was Professor and Dean at National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi, Jharkhand. He has several publications to his credit.
