Biography
Dr Ambrish Gautam is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Centre for Sociological Studies. Prior to his present position he had a stint as Lecturer at St. Xaviers College Ranchi. He was awarded PhD from Ranchi University on the doctoral thesis entitled ‘Tribals of Jharkhand in Global Era’. He qualified UGC-JRF in June 2005. He has a number of research articles to his credit in various journals and edited volumes and has authored a book entitled, ‘Tribals in Global Era: Society and Economy’.
