Dr. Digvijay Singh

Biography

Dr. Singh did graduation in Political Science from Faculty of Social Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2005. He completed LL.B. and LL.M. from Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University in 2009 and 2011 respectively. He qualified National Eligibly Test (NET) in Law Subject in June, 2012; December, 2012; and June, 2103. He has been awarded UGC Research Fellow in 2011 and Doctoral Fellow, ICSSR, New Delhi in 2013 for conducting his doctoral research. The Banaras Hindu University awarded him Doctorate in 2015 in Law subject. He completed Advance Course on Intellectual Property, Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions, offered by WIPO Academy with scholarship in 2015. He has participated and presented various papers in different national and international seminars and conferences and actively participated in the “1st Interaction Programme for Research Scholars”, organized by UGC Academic Staff College, Banaras Hindu University in 2013. He has also to his credit various publications in different national and international journals and edited books of repute. He is also member of various academic and professional bodies. He joined this university in December, 2015. Before joining this university he was associated with Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun (UK) and Hidayatullah National Law University, New Raipur (CG) respectively.
