Biography
Dr. Rikil Chyrmang holds an M.Phil. Degree in Applied Economics and PhD in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (through CDS, Trivandrum) and, an M.A. Degree in Economics from Goa University, Goa, India. His teaching interest includes Microeconomics, Labour Economics, Public Finance and Development Economics. He has presented his research papers in many National and International seminars and conferences and also published some of his research works with Routledge and journals of repute. Prior to this he has worked as with Omeo Kumar Das Institute of Social Change and Development, Guwahati (Assam).
Research Interest
His broad research interest is on Migration issues, Conflicts and Development, North East Economic Development, Local Government Finance and Development Economics.
