Biography
With 8 years' experience in teaching and research, Dr. Saroj Kumar is a motivated and dynamic teacher who has qualified UGC NET JRF. He has been awarded Ph. D. in English (Linguistics & Phonetics) by The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. Dr. Kumar has also been awarded M. Phil in English (Linguistics & Phonetics) from The English and Foreign Languages University. He has also completed a teacher training course, PGCTE (Post Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of English) from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. He has worked as a research assistant (Translation and Transcription work) for Mengia Hong Tschalar, a Ph. D. student at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at University of Zurich, Switzerland for about two years and as a research assistant (Translation and Transcription work) for Purdue University; Mellon Grand Challenge Exploratory Award, “Open Skies: Alternative Studies into Sanitation Solutions Related to Open Defecation,” (with Ernest Blatchley, Robin Clair [PI], Charlotte Erdmann, Seungyoon Lee, and Rahul Rastogi), 2014-2016, $59,970. Dr. Kumar has several national and international publications to his credit. He has also attended and presented peppers in many national and international conferences.
