Dr. Shambhavi Kumari

Biography

Dr. Shambhavi Kumari has worked as an Assistant Professor (Education) with more than 7 years’ experience of teaching and training at B.Ed. and M.Ed. levels. She has worked as a teacher educator and teacher trainer at Patna University, Patna, Himgiri Nabh Vishwavidyalaya, Dehradun, Calorx Teachers’ University, Ahmedabad etc. Her professional profile includes teaching, training, research and documentation related work in the field of Education. Apart from this, she has co-ordinated and conducted workshops and training programmes and prepared curriculum for B.Ed. (Innovative), B.A.B.Ed as well as Certificate Course in Research Methodology for Ph.D programme at Calorx Teachers’ University, Ahmedabad. Till now she has got 9 papers published in different registered and peer reviewed journals. Dr. Kumari has done M.A. with English literature, M.Ed., M.Phil. She submitted her Ph.D thesis on “A Study of the Development of Female Education among Tribal Communities of Jharkhand" in 2010 from Faculty of Education, BHU, Varanasi. She attended many seminars, conferences, workshops, training programmes on Research Methodology and a Refresher Course conducted at different institutions of repute like MPISSR, Ujjain; Council for Social Development, New Delhi; Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, University of Hyderabad. She is a national core team member of NROER, NCERT and member of editorial board and review boards of different reputed journals.
