Biography
Poonam Kumari has obtained her BA Degree in 2005 & LLB Degree in 2008 (First Class) from University of Allahabad. She obtained her LLM Degree with Specialization in Human Rights from National Law School of India University, Bangalore in 2010 (First Class). Miss Poonam Kumari has qualified UGC NET in 2009 and 2012; she has been awarded with Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship in 2012. She is pursuing her D Phil from University of Allahabad in the area of Intellectual Property Rights and Traditional Medicinal Knowledge. Before joining Central University of Bihar, she was Teaching Assistant in National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi (2011), along with that served as Guest Lecturer at Judicial Academy of Jharkhand during the training programme of Civil Judges (Junior Division), Participated in Teachers Training Programme jointly organised by the International Committee of Red Cross and Chanakya National Law University Patna, 2011. She has participated and presented paper in various International and National Seminars.
Research Interest
International Human Rights Law, Refugee and Humanitarian Law, Constitutional Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Criminal Law and Transitional Justice, International Comparative Environmental Law.
