Biography
Prof. S. N. Singh is Head of Centre for Political Studies and Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Policy in the Central University of South Bihar. His areas of interest are Indian Government & Politics and Political Thought. He studied in Patna College, Patna and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and got trainings at Indian Institute of Management Ahmadabad, Centre for Social Study, Surat and Council for Social Development, New Delhi. His foreign academic visits include Argentina, France, Spain and England. He also worked as Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Member Board of Management, Director, College Development Council, Member of Vice Chancellor Committee, various other committees of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, member, U.G.C committees, and in various selection boards at National and State levels. As a dedicated academician for the last 35 years, he has completed nine research projects, funded by U.G.C (New Delhi), I.C.S.S.R (New Delhi), T.R.I (Udaipur) & Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. Prof. Singh has published forty research papers, written five books, and guided 30 Ph.D. scholars and 60 M.Phil. reserchers. He also delivered lectures in a number of reputed institutions in different parts of country and abroad.
