Biography
My research concerns oral and written language communication from the point of view of transmission: Axis 1. The patrimonial function of language, spoken voice and singing voice: a transmission challenge Two major concepts underlie this approach: the heritage function of language and the education of voice. Many works deal with the elements of language and voice. However, as the stages of language acquisition in children are well identified and described (Rondal, 1983, 2006), the transmission of oral language is less targeted in research. In a period of visual over-stimulation (in particular by the multiplication of screens in our daily life), we question the transmission of orality and question the education of spoken and sung voice by an ethnolinguistic approach to gestures. Axis 2. Literacy, high-level writing, professional writing, academic writing French-language researchers have been less interested in the didactics of academic writing than their English-speaking counterparts (Pollet, 2001, 2004, Reuter, 2004, Chartrand and Blaser, 2008). The issue of university reading and writing skills is now everywhere, in the wake of the democratization of higher education and the rising demands on literacy in the world of employment. At the same time, digital media make writing ubiquitous and generate new professional capacities, namely professional writing. The aim is to carry out research related to the training of students in professional writing.
