Biography
Dr. G Umapathy is currently serving as Principal Scientist in the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), located in Hyderabad, India.
Research Interest
Dr. G Umapathy broad area of interest is conservation of small populations and breeding of critically endangered species using modern biotechnological tools. My group is also involved in development of non-invasive methods to monitor reproductive functions, stress and fertility status of Indian endangered animals using fecal steroid metabolites.
