Biography
Jaikhlong Basumatary primarily deals with issue area concerning terrorism, counter-terrorism, and other sub-conventional conflicts. He has completed his doctorate in West Asian Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. In his pursuit to understand the discourse on terrorism, he has interacted with important scholars (viz. Alex P. Schmid, Boaz Ganor, Assaf Moghadam to name a few) who are considered experts on study of terrorism besides being a part of international events such as 'World Summit on Counter-Terrorism' at Herzeliya, Israel and Counter-Terrorism Conference, Jaipur (India) to name a few.
