Madhura Joshi

Biography

Madhura Joshi is a senior research associate with the Climate Initiative at CPR. Prior to joining CPR, Ms Joshi worked with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi as associate fellow and area convenor of the Centre for Research on Energy Security. Here she researched on issues pertaining to India’s energy security, regional energy cooperation, energy policy (particularly oil, natural gas and nuclear), energy and sustainable development, and perceptions of people around energy facilities in India. She has a bachelor’s in Political Science from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and a master’s degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics. 

Research Interest

Her focus is on co-benefits approaches to climate, energy and development policy-making, and energy security.
