Biography
Olivier Roueff is a CNRS research fellow at the Centre de Recherches Sociologiques et Politiques de Paris (CRESPPA - see http://www.cresppa.cnrs.fr/csu/equipe/les-membres-du-csu/roueff-olivier/). He's conducting an ethnographic survey about the system of intermediaries that shapes the social life of a small town (South Karnataka). Another work in progress is focused on the statistical investigation of the Indian social space (with Mathieu Ferry and Jules Naudet). He previously studied Indian art galleries through network analysis, based on original data (see https://samaj.revues.org/4271). He's part of the "Sociology of inequalities in India" seminar (EHESS, Paris), along with Joël Cabalion, Mathieu Ferry, Odile Henry, and Jules Naudet (see https://enseignements-2017.ehess.fr/2017/ue/2075//).
