Biography
Roluah Puia completed his Ph.D from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Guwahati Campus, Assam. His area of research is on ethnicity and nationalism. Other than this, he is also interested in issues related to tribes, development, and borderland studies. Some of his works have appeared in journals like Economic and Political Weekly, Asian Ethnicity and Himal Southasian. He also has undertaken a project on the issue of Tribal Autonomy in Manipur funded by Tribal Research Institute (TRI), Manipur.
Research Interest
His area of research is on ethnicity and nationalism. Other than this, he is also interested in issues related to tribes, development, and borderland studies.
