Dr. Ashok Misra

Biography

Prof.(Dr.) Ashok Misra is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics as well as the Registrar of the Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha, India. He is also the Director of the Centre for Fluid Dynamics Research, established at CUTM,Paralakhemundi,Odisha, India. His Ph.D. was on Study on Different Aspects of Two Phase Flow Phenomena from Berhampur University, Berhampur, India in the year 2003. He has published several research articles in National and International journals and has authored two books.  Currently he is supervising six Ph.D. scholars.  He has attended and also chaired several National and International seminars/conferences. He has over 18 years of teaching and 8 years of research experiences. He received Rashtriya Vidhya Samman Puraskar from Economic Growth Society of India, New Delhi in the year 2011. He has contributed towards the design of curriculum for different Mathematics courses for B.Tech. , Integrated B.Sc.& M.Sc. programmes of CUTM. He has visited Mauritius in the year 2011 & South Africa in the year 2012 to deliver research talks. He is a life member of Orissa Mathematical Society.
