Biography
Dr. Omkar Goswami, Ph.D., serves as a Non-Executive Independent Director of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. He joined our Board in 2000. He is the Founder and Chairman of CERG Advisory Private Ltd., a consulting and advisory fi rm. He taught and researched Economics for 18 years at reputed institutions like the Oxford University, Harvard University, Tufts University and the Delhi School of Economics. Later, he became the Editor of Business India. He is also a Director on the Boards of Crompton Greaves Ltd., Ambuja Cements Ltd., Cairn India Ltd., DSP Black Rock Investment Managers Private Ltd., Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., Bajaj Finance Ltd., Max Healthcare Institute Ltd., Hindustan Construction Company Ltd., IDFC Financial Holding Company Ltd. and Infosys BPO Ltd. Dr. Goswami did his Masters in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and his D.Phil. (Ph.D.) from Oxford University.
