Biography
Dr. Vijaya Kumar Koppula, Professor & Head, Department of CSE has completed his B.Tech with Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Andhra University, M.Tech with Computer Science & Technology from Andhra University and Ph.D with Computer Science from University of Hyderabad. He is having more than 21 years of teaching experience. He is resource person for Infosys campus program, worked as a visiting scientist for page segmentation project in CVPR Unit, ISI Kolkata. He received an award for Teaching Excellence from Indo-American Education Summit 2016. He is a paper setter for various universities, reviewer for various international conferences and guided more than 100 B.Tech and M. Tech projects. He has published papers in various International / National journals and IEEE International / National conferences. He published papers in top IEEE.International conferences like ICDAR 2011 and ICPR 2012. His papers are indexed in Scopus, DBLP and IEEExplore. He has google scholar Citations 36, h-index 4 and i10-index 1. He is IEEE member and CSI nominee member.
