A. Mujeeb

Biography

Prof. A Mujeeb is a Post-Graduate in Physics with specialisation in Applied Electronics, from the Department of Physics, and has an M.Phil in Applied Sciences, from the Department of Futures Studies, both under the University of Kerala. He received his Ph.D degree in Optoelectronics jointly from Rocket Propellant Plant, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, ISRO and Department of Optoelectronics, University of Kerala, and he holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education from Indira Gandhi National Open University.He has started his career as Lecturer in Physics at MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, under the University of Calicut, in 1994, and later joined the Division of Applied Science and Humanities at the College of Engineering Kuttanad, under Cochin University of Science and Technology, as Lecturer in 2003 and subsequently promoted as Reader, Associate Professor, and as Professor.  He has taught B Tech students during his tenure and proved himself as a teacher par excellence, and has mentored the students for their effective placements and career prospects. He is presently member of different professional bodies such as ISNT, SPE, PSI etc., and set his leadership qualities on diverse extra/co-curricular activities as Head of the Division, NSS Programme Co-ordinator, Secretary PTA, Secretary Co-operative Society, Editor College Magazine, Hostel Warden during his tenure in the Colleges for more than two decades.
