M. Kailasnath

Biography

M. Kailasnath took his M.Sc. in Physics from Maharaja’s College and M.Tech. Opto electronics and Laser Technology from CUSAT and joined Cochin University  as a lecturer in 2001. He received his Ph.D. in Photonics  from Cochin University and currently works as a Professor at International School of Photonics, CUSAT. He has produced 4 Ph.D.’s and published over 50 research papers in international journals in the field of Lasers, Optical fibres and Photonic Materials. He had been a Post Doctoral Fellow in the University of Texas, USA, a Visiting Scientist at the Tampere University of Technology, Finland and Robert Gordon University, UK. He is the executive member of Photonics Society of India and a life member of Indian Association of Physics Teachers
