Biography
Muhammad Rishad graduated from the `Centre of Excellence in Lasers and Optoelectronic Sciences’ of Cochin University of Science and Technology, India in 2009, with a Master’s degree in Photonics. Thereafter, he joined the `Ultrashort Pulse High intensity Laser Laboratory’ at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR, Mumbai), India as a Junior Research fellow. He was promoted to the rank of a Senior Research Fellow in 2011. Rishad is studying towards a PhD in `Time refraction and Metamaterial nonlinearity’ in the Extreme Light Group at Heriot-Watt University. Currently he is the Assistant Professor at the International School of Photonics, Cochin University of Science and Technology.
