Biography
Received Ph.D. degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 1986. He has been a lecturer at the Cochin College from 1979 to 1988. Presently he is an Emeritus Professor at International School of Photonics. He was also the Director of the Centre of Excellence in Lasers and Optoelectronic Sciences, Cochin University of Science and Technology. His research interests include laser technology, laser spectroscopy, and fiber optic sensors. He was also the President of the Photonics Society of India and life member of Indian Laser Association, Indian Association of Physics Teachers and the Indian Physics Association
