Biography
Dr. V P N Nampoori is the Professor of Photonics in International School of Photonics, Cochin University of Science and Technology. He took his Ph D in Physics in the field of Molecular Spectroscopy. At present he is working in topics related to Lasers, Photonics and Nonlinear Dynamics. He is one of the members of the core team to establish a well developed Laser and Photonics Laboratory in CUSAT. At present this is one of the leading laboratories in Lasers and Photonics in India. He also designed the course structure for Integrated M Sc Photonics Course as a part of the Centre of Excellence in Lasers and Optoelectronic Sciences.
