Sabyasachi Sengupta

Biography

Sabyasachi Sengupta is an Environmental Sustainability professional, having work experience spanning more than 14 years. From 2008 onwards, Sabyasachi is working in Confederation of Indian Industry (CII Godrej GBC), Hyderabad, India. He is one of the key members of the movement called “Mission on Sustainable Growth (MSG)” initiative of CII, and involved in conceptualizing, development and promotion of new concept of sustainability in India, “GreenCo Rating System”. He is also a qualified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001; and has hands-on experience in design, implement & maintain “Environment & Occupational Health and Safety Management System (EHS-MS)” for various industries. He has conducted more than 100 numbers of Environmental Audits, and more than 50 training programs on various topics related to Environmental sustainability and Waste Management .He is part of the CII – Godrej GBC’s project team and executed several national & international projects on waste management, cleaner production concept etc
