Biography
A renowned Pharmacist and Clinical Pathologist by qualification, Dr. Waeterschoot has over 35 years of industry expertise. With a background of Clinical Pathology, Cryobiology and Stem Cell Storage, Dr. Waeterschoot specialises in turn-key lab projects. His vast experience has been channeled brilliantly into designing the Cryo-Save umbilical cord stem cell banking and cryopreservation facilities. He has had an extensive experience with healthcare companies like LaboMedicon and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the State University of Ghent, Unilabs SA&DCMC.
