Biography
2007-2012 Ph.D. Biotechnology (Submitted) from Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (CSIR), Palampur, H.P. INDIA and Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. (Title: “Bioprospecting Thermostable Superoxide Dismutase from the Flora of Western Himalayas”) 2002-2004 Masters of Science (Biotechnology) from Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab, India. 1998-2002 Bachelors of Science (with Botany, Chemistry and Zoology) from College of Basic Sciences, CSKHPKVV, Palampur, H.P. India.
Research Interest
His main research interests include Medicinal plants list, An inquisitive and explorative attitude contributes to a constant learning process and adds to the immense potential for innovation in the field of Science. I believe investigating the mysteries of life will always keeps my mind young and flexible. Enthralled with nature’s beauty of life, I am interested in understanding the plant growth and survival in response to environmental cues (biotic or abiotic). I am using an integrated ‘-omics’ approach (i.e. – genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics and) coupled with computational biology approach to realize my aspirations and to discover more and more about life and living organisms.
