Biography
Jayati Trivedi is a Scientist in Biofuel Division at CSIR- Indian Institute of Petroleum. She did her Bachelors in Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology- Roorkee and Masters in Advanced Petroleum Science and Technology from AcSIR. She has a number of publications, patents, prestigious conference proceedings and several awards for scientific contribution to her name. She is currently heading a project on Energy products and Biofuels from Algae. Her area of interest includes production of energy and non-energy products from renewable biomass feedstock. When not researching, she devotes her time to studying history and economics and trying hard not to be the worst player at badminton. She currently lives in Dehradun, India.

His main research interests include Biofuels and fine chemicals from lignocellulosic biomass Third generation energy and non energy products from algae Biocatalysis and Biotransformation
