Biography
Dr. C.S Vivekbabu has a diverse experience in the area of microbiology and development of novel insecticides of microbial origin, with over seven years of hands on expertise in the academic and industrial sector. He worked as DBT-Post doctoral fellow (2006-2008) at Department of Biochemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and he gained experience in development of novel insectides from microbial origin. Later from 2008 to mid 2012, he worked as Associate Scientist at ITC Corporate R&D at Hyderabad and Bangalore, where he had worked as Team leader for biorationals & bioactives programme for crop protection and Cardiovascular Health Management Programme. He had developed several product prototypes for Biorationals, Obesity and Diabetes management. He holds the merit of having 17 significant patents, of which 5 of them are granted in US, Europe, Australia and Malaysia in the area of crop protection.
Research Interest
His main research focus is on Bioprospection of Microorganisms and Development of Nano pesticides
