Biography
Dr. B. Narsaiah was born on May 04, 1958 at Mustafanager village, Gambhiraopet Mandal, Karimnager District, Telangana State, India. Married. Wife in service, Two children (one son and one daughter) Education Ph.D.(Organic Chemistry) awarded in July 1993 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, M.Sc.(Organic Chemistry): First with Distinction, June 1981 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, B.Sc. (Chemistry and Biology): First Division, June 1979 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India
Research Interest
Development of innovative technologies for strategic fluorochemicals which include new generation refrigerant gases, fire extinguishing gases and fluoropolymers etc., Synthesis of novel fluorinated heterocycles of biological importance. Guided 15 students for the award of Ph.D. degree from different universities and also guided 20 M.Sc. dissertation students. Currently, five students are working for their Ph.D. program.
