Biography
Dr. S. Prabhakar was born on 03-06-1968. He completed his schooling in Nalgonda District of Telangana, and continued till post graduation in Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has obtained his Ph.D. (Chemistry) on his research work in the area Organic Mass Spectrometry. Later he joined as Scientist at National Centre for Mass Spectrometry of CSIR-IICT in 1998 and continuing his research in the area of mass spectrometry. Right from inception, he has immense contributions to the Centre for Analysis of Chemical Toxins (CACT), an ISO/IEC 17025 (NABL) accredited laboratory for the off-site analysis of chemicals related chemical weapons convention and the team is regularly participating in official OPCW proficiency tests to retain prestigious international OPCW designation status to CACT.
