Biography
Dr. Ram Chandra Reddy Jala did his PhD in Organic Chemistry (Lipids)from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad in 2008. After finishing doctoral research, he worked for one year as Postdoctoral Fellow at Aarhus University, Denmark and almost one year as Scientist at Wilmar Global R & D Centre, Shanghai, China. In 2011, he joined IICT as Scientist and working since then. He is the receipient of OP Narula Young Scientist Award for the year 2005, R K Khanna Memorial Award for the year 2009 and SD Tirumala Rao Memorial Award for the year 2012, OP Narula Technology Award for the year 2013 for his research work on vegetable oils and allied products conferred by Oil Technologists' Association of India. He has published 32 research papers in reputed national and international journals and contributed to 4 book chapters.
