Graduated from Sri Venkateswara University, completed Masters from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay and Doctoral Degree from IIT, Kharagpur Employment 25+ years of experience in applied R&D, Prototype Development, Scale Up, Engineering Support to R&D, Administration of Engineering Services, Technology Transfer, Infrastructure Planning and Development, Quality Planning & Management and Human Resources Development. Served CSIR- NML earlier for about 15years. Currently holds the position of Senior Principal Scientist and Head, ESD at CSIR-IICT

My research activities have evolved around the fields of Welding and integrity assessment and in the Mechanical Engineering Domain of Chemical Science and Technology and metallurgy. Currently, I hold interest in the areas of mechano-chemical processing, modelling fluid flow and heat transfer using computation fluid dynamics, structural integrity assessment of welds
