Biography
Born in 1967 to Akkirala Pedda Narsaiah and Guravamma, a traditional Indian Hindu family with a profession of Agriculture, in Bathulapally village, Kallur revenue Mandal and Khammam district of Telangana State, India. After completion of MSc from Osmania University, joined to MPhil in Hyderabad Central University, before completion of this course, got opportunity as Scientific Assistant in IICT and later promoted as Scientist. Since 1992, working in IICT and involved in the synthesis of various market valuated molecules, sponsored by Industry and in-house projects, along with basic research.
Research Interest
Asymmetric Total Synthesis of biologically active compounds like Marinomycins (antibiotics), Streptophenazines(antibiotics), Palinavir (HIV protease inhibitor), Rosuvastatin (dyslipidemia), Aliskiren (Renin inhibitor).
