Biography
Dr David Raju B Born on 26th June 1960. He has done his Schooling from Z.P.H. S. Arasarlapadu, Khammam dist, (1972-76); Intermediate education from Kallur, Khammam dist,(1977-79); Bachelor of Science from J.V. R. Govt. College, Sathupally, Khammam dist,(1979-82); Master of science from Dept. of Chemistry, Osmania University (1982-84), Hyderabad; Qualified CSIR JRF examination, Ph. D. from Osmania University (1994), Hyderabad, India. He has Joined on 15 May, 1989 in IICT, moved on to NCL Pune in 1995 to take up scientist-B position, returned to IICT in 1996 and continuing as scientist in various levels. Visited Hungary, Korea (PDF for 3 years), Japan, Brazil and France on scientific collaborations and presentations in international conferences.
Research Interest
Heterogeneous Catalysis: Design and development of nanocatalysts in mesoporous materials, Development of catalysts for hydrogenation and dehydrogenation coupling processes; Carbon dioxide utilization as a soft oxidant in oxidative dehydrogenation reactions; Development of green catalysts for fine chemical synthesis. Potable water treatment through nanotechnology.
