Dr. Nishant Jain S research interests include We folks, work on the regulation of enzymes involved in tumour metabolism. Presently, we are focused on the enzymes isocitrate dehydorgenases-1 and -2. These enzymes are often mutated in a wide spectrum of cancers, and demonstrate a gain of function. Hence we use molecular biology tools to delineate the mechanisms involved in regulating these enzymes. In addition, we also plan to expand our forte, by investigating the link between RNA epigenetics (N6-Methyladenosine) and tumour metabolism..
