Biography
Dr. Shailaja Donempudi is a Sr.Prin. Scientist and Head Research Management Division and looking after the activities of Project management, HR Management, IP Management, Events Management etc. She obtained her Ph.D degree in Chemistry from the Osmania University in 1993. Subsequently she joined the Institute as Scientist in Organic Coatings & Polymers Division and made significant contributions in the development of R&D processes/technologies in Polymers and Functional Materials till 2016. She has specialised in Polymer-inorganic / core shell nanoparticles, fluoropolymers, Controlled Release polymer systems, Biopolymers, Microencapsulation, Polymer layered silicate nanocomposites, Polymer metal complexes, Polymer membranes. She has published more than 25 publications in various national and International Journals.
Research Interest
High RI organic inorganic hybrid photopolymers for optical Applications, Insecticidal Seed Coating.
