Biography
Dr Sistla Ramakrishna was born in on 30th August 1965 in Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, India. He did Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India. After having 2 years industrial experience, he did his doctoral research at Pharmacology Division, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India and was awarded Ph.D degree in Chemical Technology from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He has been working as Scientist from 2001 and currently he is holding the position of Principal Scientist in Pharmacology. He is working in the areas of in vitro and in vivo pharmacology screening, use of various animal models for pharmacological screening, novel drug delivery systems for targeting drugs specific site and regulatory toxicology such as acute, sub chronic and chronic toxicity testing of drugs. He is a recognized guide in various universities. Currently 8 research scholars are pursuing their Ph.D degrees in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Research Interest
In vitro and in vivo pharmacology screening, use of various animal models for pharmacological screening, novel drug delivery systems for targeting drugs specific site and regulatory toxicology such as acute, sub chronic and chronic toxicity testing of drugs.
