Biography
Dr. Balasubramanian Sridhar is currently a Senior Scientist in X-ray Crystallography Division, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad. He obtained his Doctoral degree in Physics, specialization in X-ray Crystallography from Madurai Kamaraj University, India in 2004, after which he joined IICT. His research interests are directed towards supramolecular self assemblies, multicomponent crystal structures of pharmaceutical molecules, drug polymorphism and drug-nucleobase interactions in the broad area of chemical crystallography. His specific areas of expertise include crystallization, structure solution and elucidation, geometrical analysis of small molecules, determination of absolute configuration, disorder modeling etc.,

X-ray Crystallographic studies on drug-polymorphism, supra-molecular chemistry, characterization of organic, metal-organic compounds using single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques
