Biography
Dr. Srihari Pabbaraja is currently working as Senior Scientist in the Division of Natural Products Chemistry at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. He has a M. Phil in Chemistry from Hyderabad Central University and Ph.D in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Osmania University. Srihari has made significant contributions in the total synthesis of lactone containing natural products. He has synthesised over 250 new chemical entities that were screened for anti-arthritis programme and anti-cancer activities. Srihari has published over eighty publications in international journals and has given several lectures in various conferences. Presently, he is guiding 7 students for their Ph.D programme as a part of his community service activities.

Total synthesis of bioactive complex natural products, Synthesis of new chemical entities, Development of concise approaches for natural products, C-C bond formation reactions using aryne chemistry.
