Biography
Dr. K Yamuna Rani received BTech. from Osmania University, Hyderabad and M.Tech. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the IIT, Madras, and has been with IICT since 1990. She has authored two books, four book chapters, and over 150 papers in peer-reviewed international and national journals and proceedings of international/national conferences. Dr. K Yamuna Rani received B.Tech.degree in chemical engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, in 1986, and M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, in 1988 and 2002, respectively. She was DAAD- Fellow at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany during 1994-1995.
Research Interest
Nonlinear process model based control, nonlinear model predictive control, adaptive control, data-driven model based control, sensitivity compensating control, multi-objective optimal control using stochastic and deterministic solution techniques, development of alternate neural network modeling structures, kinetic modeling, product modeling, first principles modeling of experimental systems, and physical properties estimation and prediction.
