Biography
Mr. Umesh Asaikar has been associated with Deepak Nitrite Ltd. as a Chief Executive Officer since September 2008. Previously, he was associated with Defiance Knitting Industries Ltd., Mumbai. He has over 34 years of varied experience in sales, commercial purchase and business management and has held various leadership positions in companies such as Parke Davis, Nicholas Piramal and Piramal Glass etc. In addition to a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Mumbai, and a Master's degree in Management Science from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, he is also the member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
