Biography
Dr. Suneet Naithani joined the Department of Environment and Natural Resources as an Assistant Professor. He has received his M.Sc. from (HNB Garhwal Univ) and Ph.D. from (HNB Garhwal Univ). His research interests include: Disaster Management, Role of Earth Science in Natural Resource Management (Environmental Geology),Geo-Botanical Relevance and Landscape Planning using RS and GIS. He was honored with following awards; Centre of Excellence; DMC, UAoA, Nainital (2009), Recognised Trainer, Training Need Analysis, DoPT, Govt. of India, (Jan, 2008 onwards), Chairman, State Committee, preparing State Crises Management Plan (CMP) and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s), Govt. of Uttarakhand, 21/4/2010
Research Interest
Disaster Management, Role of Earth Science in Natural Resource Management (Environmental Geology),Geo-Botanical Relevance and Landscape Planning using RS and GIS.
