Paul Sturgeon:

Biography

 Paul is a Chartered Accountant who trained with Price Waterhouse. After leaving the profession Paul joined Courtaulds plc, a FTSE100 company, in their head office before moving to a subsidiary group of companies, Betts Packaging; a speciality packaging manufacturer supplying the oral care, personal care and healthcare sectors including the supply of medical devices to pharmaceutical companies. In 2003 Paul became Group Finance Director of this international group with operations from 20 factories in 14 countries spanning the Americas, Europe and Asia with a turnover of more than £100million. Since 2000 Paul has worked at Finance Director and CFO level in a variety of interim and permanent roles. He has been involved in trade sales, raising bank finance, participated in an MBO and secured a successful exit to private equity. Most recently he served as CFO for LighterLife, a healthcare company, and transformed this UK based franchise business to become an international group of companies with a portfolio of products selling via franchisees, own stores, online and high street retail. psturgeon@doublewingpharma.com
