Biography
Anupam Puri retired from McKinsey & Company in end-2000. From 1970 to 2000, Puri was with McKinsey & Company, a leading management consultancy firm. He worked globally with corporate clients in several industries on strategy and organizational issues, and also served several governments and multilateral institutions on public policy. Puri spearheaded the development of McKinsey’s India practice, oversaw the Asian and Latin American offices, and was an elected member of the Board. He is currently a management consultant. He also holds directorship in Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Tech Mahindra Limited, Mumbai Mantra Media Limited and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Inc, USA. Anupam Puri holds an M. Phil. in Economics from Nuffield College, Oxford University, UK, and an MA in Economics from Balliol College, Oxford University, and a BA in Economics from Delhi University, India.
