Biography
Kalpana Morparia is Chief Executive Officer for J.P. Morgan, South and Southeast Asia. Kalpana is a member of J.P. Morgan’s Asia Pacific Management Committee. Kalpana serves as an Independent director on the Boards of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., Philip Morris International Inc., Hindustan Unilever Limited and Non-Executive Director on JPMorgan Asset Management India Private Limited (Chairperson) and JPMorgan Services India Private Limited. Kalpana is also a Member of the Governing Board of Bharti Foundation. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan India, Kalpana served in ICICI Group since 1975 her last assignments included, Vice Chair on the Boards of ICICI Group Companies and Joint Managing Director of ICICI Bank from 2001 to 2007. ICICI Bank is India’s largest private sector bank and has leadership positions in banking, insurance, asset management and private equity and a growing international franchise. A graduate in science and law from Bombay University, Kalpana has been recognized by several International & National media for her role as one of the leading women professionals.
