Abhijit Mukherjee Chief Operating Officer Abhijit Mukherjee is Chief Operating Officer of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, a position he has held since 2014. Abhijit joined the organization in January 2003, bringing with him many years of experience in strong marketing focused companies like Unilever, as well as highly reputed speciality chemicals companies. Abhijit is a rare combination of seasoned marketing & sales acumen and rich technical knowledge. This strategic expertise, acquired over three decades, helps Abhijit shoulder the responsibility of the Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing Operations at Dr. Reddy’s with great success - a responsibility that spans 19 countries, with a focus on the US, India, Russia, Germany and the UK. Abhijit also played an anchoring role in key strategic initiatives such as the acquisitions of Roche's API business at Mexico and Dowpharma's UK based small molecule business, and the strategic alliance with GSK for Emerging Markets. At Dr. Reddy’s, Abhijit achieved success as President - Pharmaceutical Services & Active Ingredients, before assuming his current role as Chief Operating Officer Abhijit is a Graduate in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
