Biography

 J. Ramachandran is Executive Vice President - Management Systems & Corporate Initiatives at Dr. Reddy’s. He has over twenty-five years of leadership experience in founding and scaling technology products & services businesses across 5 continents. In his current role, Ram sharpens the company’s relentless focus on stakeholder value with breakthrough corporate initiatives, as well as appropriate strategy and management systems. Ram joined Dr. Reddy’s in September 2016. Earlier, Ram was with IBM Global Services (USA), where he was involved in the development of several Fortune 500 customer engagements and internationally distributed teams in diverse verticals such as Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, and Utility. One such engagement received special mention in the Wall Street Journal. Ram also won a rare award as the “Best People Manager” at IBM. Previously he was CEO of Cura, an enterprise risk management company, where he achieved 30% growth and also regained the company’s inclusion into Gartner’s Visionary Quadrant. Prior to this he was Global CEO of Birlasoft, where he moved the company, in less than a year, from 72nd place to 46th place in Dataquest’s Top 100 list.
