Biography

 Louis Dreyfus Company has two vegetable oil refineries in India, as part of our Oilseeds Platform. My role is to manage those assets along with the Profit & Loss, or P&L, of the Oilseeds Platform in India. An important aspect of my role is to engage and motivate a very young and dynamic team at the desk and nurture their talent to contribute to Louis Dreyfus Company globally. The Group assigns as much responsibility as you can handle. Trainees learn the business from the bottom up and along the way, they are groomed for a role that is suitable to their skills. I say this from experience, as this has been the case for me from the moment I took my first job with the company in 2004 as a management trainee straight out of college.
