Biography

Edgard A Olaizola, Managing Director, Eli Lilly and Company India & Sri Lanka joined Lilly India in September 2013.   Edgard joined Lilly 13 years ago and over the years has held diverse positions in marketing and sales at US, South America, and Canada. In his last assignment, as Lilly Taiwan’s MD, he played a crucial role in making Lilly Taiwan as one of the best performing countries in the Asia region. Prior to moving to Taiwan, Edgard was based in US, handling a broader role of leading the Sales Force Capabilities and Six Sigma team as Senior Director for the Emerging Market Business Unit.   Now based in Gurgaon, he considers his mission to establish Lilly India as a high performance organization, a market leader in diabetes segment and an employer of choice. His vision is to bring the best of Lilly to the Indian patient and leverage the Indian potential for Lilly.
